WHO IS AN APOSTLE?
Before we can answer the above question we first have to define the office of an apostle. An Apostle is a special messenger delegated with authority and empowered with supernatural abilities to accomplish a certain task. It was for this reason that they were called firstly.

YAHSHUA HIMSELF was sent as an apostle by the FATHER to the world, (Hebrews 3:1) HE later extended HIS ministry of healing and preaching to twelve. It was on this occasion, evidently that they were first called 'apostles'

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF AN APOSTLE?
The office was validated by a number of evidences among them are signs, wonders and miracles. 2 Corinthians 12:12 lists the marks of an apostle. In 1 Corinthians 12:28 and Ephesians 4:11 apostles are listed along with prophets and other saints as the foundation of the Qahal . The first thing the papacy did to allow Yisrael to become dormant was to tell people that after twelve, the office of the apostle would become dead. To do this they had to teach that the times of healing, signs and wonders were also gone. (This teaching explains why many in Christianity especially those of older denomination don't believe in such phenomenas). In other words if the Apostolic office is dead, Qahal would be dead because you can't build on something that is dead. One of the main job of the apostle, is to bring the Qahal into the unity of the faith (perfection). The word apostle also means ''father'' the pattern is FATHER YAHWEH--- YAHSHUA---Twelve Apostles----Yisrael, each being fathered first then being sent for a specific purpose.[/i]
WHAT THE APOSTLES PREACHED
[i]The Apostles' teaching is based on what they both heard and/or saw the GREAT APOSTLE YAHSHUA, HIMSELF did (1 John 1:1-4) that which HE saw and heard HIS FATHER do. (John 3:32)[/i]

Later the Apostle Shaul (Paul) taught his followers to follow him as he followed YAHSHUA ~ 1 Corinthians 11:1. If what the apostles did, preceded them and was based on what they saw YAHSHUA taught and did, why should it stop with them? YAHSHUA HIMSELF said, greater things than these shall you do in MY Name ~ John 14:12.
THE APOSTLES' DOCTRINE
In a time and era when so many people who are completely clueless to the Apostles' doctrine lay claim to be teaching it, it is extremely important for FATHER YAHWEH's people to know it so that they can contend for it! ~ Jude 1:3. The criteria for testing what the Apostles' doctrine is, is therefore based on what YAHSHUA did, taught or both.
12 PRINCIPLES OF THE APOSTLES' DOCTRINE
1. THE APOSTLES WERE COMMITTED TO THE GREAT GO-MISSION OF ST. MATTHEW 28:19. The Great Go-mission is to be based in three principles preaching, teaching and making disciples.
The apostles always went out to the ''high-ways and by-ways'' to preach the glad tidings of the Kingdom to the lost, instead of inviting them into buildings they had erected. ~ Acts 2:46-47; 8:25; 18:15, Galatians 1:23. This also YAHSHUA did ~ Matthew 9:35, Mark 1:39
2. THE APOSTLES WERE GIVEN TO PRAYER AND FASTING
The Apostles understood that prayer and fasting were the blood of the ministry ~ Acts 6:4; 1:14. This YAHSHUA did ~ Matthew 4:2 and taught ~ Mark 9:29
3. THE APOSTLES GAVE GENEROUSLY, TOOK CARE OF THE POOR AND HAD EVERYTHING IN COMMON.
Acts 4:32-35 This YAHSHUA did ~ Matthew 11:5; Luke 14:1; John 13:29 and taught Luke 18:22; John 12:5-6.
4. THE APOSTLES WERE GIVEN TO CLOSE FELLOWSHIP AND SHARED MEALS.
Acts 2:42 This YAHSHUA did ~ Luke 24:35
5. THE APOSTLES WERE FILLED AND LED BY RUACH HA-QODESH (THE SPIRIT)

6. THE APOSTLES UNDERSTOOD AND CONTINUED THE DOCTRINE OF LAYING ON OF HANDS.
Acts 6:6; 8:17-18; 19:6. This YAHSHUA did ~ Matthew 19:13-15, Mark 6:5
7. THE APOSTLES WERE ALL BORN AGAIN.
This YAHSHUA taught ~ John 3:3; 1:13, 2 Corinthians 5:17, 1 Peter 1:23, 1 John 2:29; 3:9; 4:7
8. THE APOSTLES WERE COMMANDMENT KEEPERS.
Acts 17:2; 18:4; 16:13. This YAHSHUA did ~ Luke 4:16; 6:5 and taught ~ Luke 2:27; Mark 3:4
9. THE APOSTLES OBSERVED THE APPOINTED MEMORIALS AND REHEARSALS.
1 Corinthians 5:8, Acts 2:1; 20:16. This YAHSHUA did ~ John 7:14, Matthew 26:17
